MCWA Update: December 2021

Thank you so much to everyone who joined us for our Caregiving Conversation Series in Q4 2021. If you weren’t able to join us or would like to review some recap materials, please take a look at this Recap Document and this Merrill Family Life Organizer. (Unfortunately, we weren’t permitted to record the sessions.)

Thank you as well to all of the donors who participated in our Holiday Donation Drive for the YWCA! Thanks to your generosity this holiday season, MCWA was able to donate 30 TWA reusable bags full of toiletries for the women at YWCA as well as many coloring books, crayons, markers, and coloring pencils for the children! Stay tuned for more information on our continued involvement with the YWCA in the new year.

Read below for information on our first 2022 event and stay tuned for more!

We hope you’ll plan to join us for our Financial Fitness 2022 Kickoff session on Tuesday, January 11th from 12:00-1:00pm EST. We are pleased to welcome back Susan Acker to turn the page and start 2022 with new actions to build our financial fitness. Join the MCWA and Susan as we discuss personal financial empowerment. We will explore how to establish strategies to achieve your goals, learn ways to build for retirement at any age, and what to expect from the markets in 2022. The time is now to set ourselves up for financial success. We are not permitted to record this session, so please be sure to tune in live. We invite all TWA and ERG members to join us! Note, you must register via this link for the session.

Looking to get more involved with TWA in 2021 and live in Monroe County?
As we work to build MCWA this year, we are actively recruiting chapter volunteers and board members, and would appreciate any help you’d be willing to provide. If you or someone you know is interested in volunteering or learning more, please reach out to Amy Porter at  amy.porter@xerox.com.
